4. Cookies

4.1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the website to remember your actions and choices, and help us understand how the website is used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and browser local storage, may be used for the same purposes.

4.2. Cookie categories

  • Necessary cookies provide the core functions of the website – keeping your session, remembering your language choice and storing your cookie preferences. The website does not work without them, so they are always used and do not require your consent.
  • Statistics cookies help us understand how many people visit the website, which pages are viewed and for how long. The data is used in aggregated form. These cookies are used only with your consent.
  • Marketing cookies allow us to measure advertising campaign results and to show you more relevant advertising on other websites. These cookies are used only with your consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. You will find instructions in your browser's help section (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari and others). Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent the website from working properly.

4.5. Other third-party content

The contacts section displays a map whose imagery is provided by OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and information about your browser. The map is a functional part of the website and does not use tracking cookies. That processing is governed by the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

The website also contains a link to our profile on the Facebook social network. It is an ordinary link – Facebook receives data only if you click it.

Fonts and all other website resources are served from our own server, so opening the website makes no requests to Google servers until you have consented to statistics or marketing cookies.

5. Data recipients

We do not disclose personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf as processors – the website hosting provider, the e-mail service provider, IT maintenance and accounting service providers, and installation and delivery partners, to the extent necessary to fulfil an order.
  • Analytics and advertising service providers – Google Ireland Limited and StatCounter, if you have consented to the relevant cookies.
  • Public authorities and law enforcement bodies, where we have a legal obligation to provide the data.

We have concluded agreements with our processors that require them to process the data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

When using Google and StatCounter services, data may be transferred for processing outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, including to the United States of America. In such cases the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision (the EU – U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission together with additional safeguards.

7. Retention periods

  • Contact form and e-mail correspondence – up to 2 years from the last contact, unless a contract has been concluded.
  • Contract-related data – for the term of the contract and 10 years after its performance, in line with accounting and limitation period requirements.
  • Technical server logs – normally up to 12 months.
  • Cookies – for the periods set out in section 4.3 of this policy.

Once the retention period ends, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • obtain information about whether and what data of yours we process, and to receive a copy of it;
  • request the correction of inaccurate data;
  • request the erasure of data (the „right to be forgotten“) where there is no longer a legal basis for the processing;
  • request the restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and transmit it to another controller (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
